Leia Tyebjee
Leia Tyebjee is an arts administrator and visual artist based in New York and Mumbai. Leia works with emerging artists whose work pushes boundaries and imaginaries across different mediums. Leia holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, NY, and an MA from Columbia University, NY.
Leia works with portrait-style photography, heavily emphasizing landscape. With a special interest in collaborative work, Leia’s goal is to communicate both with the viewer and the subjects. The photographs are usually Black and White 35MM film. Leia works with analog photography because it exhibits the raw side of photography, telling a story through its simplicity.Leia is also a co-founder of Pylot Studios.
